Acts 6:3-4 Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.

Deacons:
The deacons assist in the administration of the church and its budget through serving on the Joint Board and by serving as a representative for each of the church’s ministries. Through administration of the Deacon’s Fund, the deacons provide financial or physical assistance to congregation members. The deacons are also responsible for the maintenance of the church and parsonage buildings and grounds.
